Spies, Assassins, and Mind Reading will all be lively as soon as the SPY X FAMILY The series, based on the award-winning manga series by Tatsuya Endo, has officially announced its TV anime adaptation. The series is slated to air in 2022.

Two teaser visuals have also been released, featuring both “spy” and “family” angles.
The SPY X FAMILY manga is a heartwarming comedy set in a “cold war state” that sees spy Loid Forger adopting a child as part of his mission. To continue the undercover mission, Loid marries Yor, who is therefore an assassin, and adopts a young girl named Anya, who can read minds.

SPY X FAMILY is serialized every two weeks on Shonen Jump + in Japan, and 12.5 million copies of the physical manga are currently in print with the upcoming release of volume 8 on November 4 in Japan. The manga has won numerous awards, such as the 44th Kodansha Manga Award and the 24th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award. Viz Media publishes the series in English on the Shonen Jump and Manga Plus app as released in Japan, as well as physical volumes, describing the first volume thus:
The talented spy Twilight has his work cut out for him, securing him a wife and a child for his mission to infiltrate an elite private school. What he doesn’t know is that the woman he chose is an assassin and that the child he adopted is a telepath!
